With more power comes more fear and thus hate. United States started as an expansionist nation as well... And in a way, it still expands in influence. How many nations are not affected or influenced by the U.S. in some way?

True. Only map doesn't change like it used to in the past. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_deployments

Look at number of soldier US has at their army bases outside of US. It is crazy...

North Korea is #36; they are not that strong at all =D

Also did south korea and japan have a big conflict in the past 100 years that I did not know ?

Japan occupied the Korean peninsula for much of the first half of the 20th century. A lot of tension remains between them still.

Tbh

search up war of 1812.

The US tried to take over Canada. And they had way more power and population. The only reason they failed is because Natives helped us, and we did some tricks to fool Americans into thinking we had more soldiers than we really did like telling our soldiers to scream as loud as they could to scare the Americans and on more than one occasion the Americans retreated on battles they could have easily won!!!

They were dumb enough to fall for it :rip:

but had the Americans not been fooled by some of the tricks and had the Natives not helped us, Whats known as Canada now would he part of the US also!

I will never get why countries like Israel,Turkey,Russia or USA are in that. I mean there are so many African questionable countries, but I guess it's because of they don't know many african countries.

Lol a lot of foreigners hate the US. It's so obvious.

Get rid of trident!

Indeed, how much is too much?

Also, anyone remember the ufo scare in LA a few weeks back? That was the U.S. Navy testing Trident missiles from submarines. And to do it so close to LA, it was as if American forces were trying to remind the world who has the power. UFOs are far less scary in comparison, IMO. Would any super advanced species from another world would be willing to destroy their own world a thousand times over?

And on that same token, if world powers were spending billions on war proxies and games, perhaps enough money would go towards research and technology to give us cheaper and resourceful means to generate power and explore our solar system more progressively. If we even came close to being able to harvest resources of the Moon, Mars, and even some moons on other worlds, imagine the vast possibilities of where we could go from there. It's 2015, where's the future we envisioned for so long? What will it take for humanity to mature in its progress?

Stand in the light, cast your shadow.
