Two 11-year-olds commit suicide in Fort Collins; one family blames bullying

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — An unthinkable tragedy in Fort Collins is bringing the community together after two children took their own lives in the past week.

The family of one of the victims said bullying took their young daughter’s life. They hope her story will help end bullying.

Children in an east Fort Collins neighborhood spent their Sunday evening holding a candlelight vigil and balloon launch in memory of classmate Ariana Cordova. The 11-year-old Lincoln Middle School student committed suicide last week.

Let me tell you how most schools handlle bullying.....they dont...they just try to hide it and denny it and when **** like this happens they act like they didnt know ehat was going on

Such a senseless loss. Two beautiful lives taken before they even got started living. I hope they are being loved and hugged everyday in heaven.

How terrible! Its insane that bullying has gotten this out of hand that now kids who aren't even past their pre teen years decide to take their lives. RIP :(
