U got it the US has even larger military power than Russia but if the US tried to destroy entire cities, the media and public would turn against Government for killing innocent lives of people who simply live under the rule of ISIS Even China holds themselves back sometimes. Not because of backlash from its citizens but they seem to fear UN and sanctions to some degree The Russians on the otherhand wouldnt hesitate from such extreme measures. So its not that Russia has more military power than the US or even China. Its just that i can see them doing things the US and maybe even China may be reluctant to do.
