The props were a shot at LSU fans, who have been accused by rivals of smelling like the food-item-on-a-stick. That show was set at Ole Miss, site of a crucial game that day against Alabama; Perry has a connection to the Rebels through her manager, who is reportedly a huge Mississippi fan. Those strands came together Saturday, when Ole Miss hosted LSU, and Perry showed up on the scoreboard monitor at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The pop star recorded an intro video to the Ole Miss pregame “Hot Toddy” cheer, and sure enough, there was another corn dog involved.
