I did give an argument, you just ignored it. My argument was that helping the Syrian government is not (and was never) going to stop this because IS is not just there in Syria. So while helping Syria to stop their "inner" problems would help it wouldn't end the terrorism. It's impossible for you to know what's the "right" thing to do. The US is now openly funding the FSA who are allies with alqaeda! ISIS is actually only in Syria and a small part is in Iraq.. funding the Syrian government and the kurds will end terrorism and remove it from the country. Most of the terrorists involved with these attacks were not even Syrians. Their territorial regimen is in Syria and Iraq, but that doesn't mean eradicating them from those two countries is going to end terrorism. And no, you don't know that. AdAstra 2,649 Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 At this point I don't think anyone has a clue how to defeat such a fluid and wide stretching enemy as Isis is now, not even the US...instead of dealing with one solidified enemy combatant, you have this network of terrorists that stretches from the Middle East to your own back yard and it's always changing forms. How do you even begin to make moves against them? Not to mention the refugee mess that's only exacerbating matters. God bless the French, hopefully they have better luck with it that the US had in Iraq and Afghanistan because we're still dealing with that mess 15 years later with little results, as can be seen by the events in Paris. Instead of stabbing in the dark, the US and its allies need to remain vigilant for the time being and wait till the field clears to make their moves against Isis. It is not impossible for me to know what ends terrorism.. this is the third time you try to shut me up by telling me im not the government! if thats the case, you shouldnt even give your opinion or even have this argument with me in the first place. My argument was not about how to end terrorism, it was about how to end ISIS in Syria but if you want to talk about terrorism in general well you have to know why these terrorists exist. All of them say one thing witch is we dont want the west to control us so if the west wants to stop terrorism, they should stop what they are doing in the Middle East.
