True and I agree.

But I do not see why they are going against the origins of Islam and everything it originally stood for.

Origins of Islam, or everything it originally stood for is open to discussion, everyone has their own personal perspective on it; there is not a definite answer to what originally Islam stood for, or Christianity stood for, if we go back to history, most religions have very bloody pasts, they have contradictory moments to their claim to peace but everybody interpret them differently. According to ISIS, they don't go go against "the origins of Islam" but apply it literally, in the most authentic way possible.

I see, but I only hope there will be no more victims of them. I have my own children and I cannot even imagine how it feel when your child woes out to attend a concert or wants to eat out and then one freak decides to explode and takes lives of so many innocent people, often very young...

We don't have to stop living that's what they want. I don't think they are targetting concert room especially. It could have been anywhere. They planned to enter in Stade de France (but failed)...

We really have to keep on living like usual... It's hard but we have to ! This morning was very very different in France, people were different, it's very sad...

I understood that they might have aimed differently, but we will never know, but still now I know for sure that I will not attend any Euro2016 game (although I waited a long time for it and I was happy that France is going to organize it), I don't want to risk. Obviously, it can happen everywhere, even in the store and they can kill any person of any religion. Oh here's one thing I just wondered about, if they claim to be so "religious" why they kill also Muslims?? They shouldn't hate on them as well. I wonder if it's because majority of European Muslims are friendly and normal (I work with some and I have Muslim neighbours) and they want to create tension between us? Because it is obvious that the Muslim community will be blamed for this, although they are as dismayed as Jews, Christians or atheists and others.

@SlaeUrAnus henny I'm a Muslim and I'm pissed with ISIS. They ruin my religion and made people insult us more. I know u said "I'd rather shoot myself in the face than kneel to Allah." as an expression of anger to ISIS so I'm fine with that :D.. Allah didn't thought us to be evil and barbaric so I'm very sure that ISIS didn't follow the Quran which taught us to respect every other religion. F*ck ISIS

I just find it ridiculous that they constantly claim to do that for religion and at the same time they kill anyone they see, Muslims as well. If they were Muslims (and they are not to me, they distorted Islam just in order to fit it into their sick ideology), they wouldn't kill Muslims. A vicious circle. The worst is that normal people suffer (also Muslims who will now have to prove once again that they are not hostile towards anyone), I'm even more than disgusted by it.

Ah please... Religion is totally subjective... You think Allah teaches you whatever you perceive. ISIS follows Quran in a way that they interpret it too... If you believe, you go do it, but Quran is filled with hate speech, let's not pretend that it is a sugar coated source of peace...

An-Nisa-34, Al-Maidah-51 are some basic examples to that...

ISIS don't think that way... They released a threatening video against Turkey which answered your question in details but I couldn't find a version of it with english subs. So here is the explanation:

They target muslims that they consider "infidels"... The reason why they are threatening Turkey is that it is a secular country, no sharia laws are applied but mostly muslim populated... A Hadith* tells that a muslim should kill someone who was born to a muslim family/origin but left the religion...So to ISIS, these types of muslims, or Republic of Turkey is a paragon of infidel muslims that left the religion by not following sharia laws etc etc... They don't have an agenda on creating a tension b/w muslim population and others.

*Hadith are the collections of the reports claiming to quote what the prophet Muhammad said verbatim on any matter.

Oh I really appreciate your explanation, thank you so much! I didn't really know what is their point, because as you see, although I try hard, I'm unable to understand their motifs or the way they look at things. And wow, this is really vile and twisted. So even if a certain country is lead by the majority of Muslims (just like Turkey), but it's secular they wish them death? Now I also understood more why they want to destroy Albania (at fist I thought it's because Muslims live with Christians in peace and that they want to "convert" those Christians into Islam), but it seems that they want to revenge on Albanian Muslims as well, because they didn't kill those Christians in the first place. Purely Putrid!!!

So mostly muslim populated countries who do not follow any sharia laws, such as Albania, Turkey are paragon of these infidel muslims for ISIS which is their motivation to attack these countries too. For ISIS, these countries are not muslim or anything, they are traitors, infidels...

Extremist islamic ideologies are mostly more violent against liberal muslims or people who were born to muslim descendants... A very famous hadith says that a person ,who were born to muslim family, should be killed if they stop worshipping to Allah, convert to any other religion etc. But as far as I know, it is not even this violent against christians, or jews. So mostly muslim populated countries who do not follow any sharia laws, such as Albania, Turkey are paragon of these infidel muslims for ISIS which is their motivation to attack these countries too. This is more than scary to me! By the way, usually we, the Westerners (so Jews and Christians), are told that we are their main target and they hate us at most and obviously they do, but I'd never expect them to be so hostile towards other Muslims as well (because let's face it, most of people consider Turkey to be an Islamic country - although there are no sharia laws and Turkish are tolerant towards other religions). And if they talk this crap about converting us into Islam and introducing the sharia laws, we don't realize they mean also taking vengeance on those who "should" have done that earlier, but they were not radical. I assume there is a lot about Sunnis and Shia conflict in it as well, is it?

No, it doesn't really have anything to do with Shia-Sunni conflict... ISIS was initially empowered due to Iraq's oppression towards its Sunni population but it doesn't really have anything to do with ISIS' current situation... But you got other parts about taking vengeance on non-radical muslims part correct. All organizations have different motivations btw. I don't specifically know what Al-Qaeda said etc, I was too young back then, but ISIS' ideology is what it is.

I see, I brought up Shia-Sunni issue, because I remember that there were also many conflicts based on that, while the differences between these two groups seem to be tiny for a regular Jew or Christian who is not interested in religions, so I it is sort of a comparison for me. I understand this is entirely new ideology (however, there were such radical attempts in history as far as I remember) and they would probably like to kill both Shia and Sunni, as none of them is as radical as ISIS. Also, it is obvious to me that these groups such as Al-Qaeda or ISIS do not really fight for religion (they preach hate, not love), but mainly for political reasons and for power. The only sad thing is that innocent people suffer... So again thank you for letting me know how they perceive their actions, I was very interested to know that and I think I understand it now. However, it made me even more resentful that there is so little done to stop them, how long the world is going to tolerate this cruelty? The longer we wait, the stronger and better organized they become!
