It does not work like that. "If this stops it will all go away". :smh: ISIS are multiplying and recruiting THOUSANDS each day. Why cannot ya'll peace preachers realise that? There are too many evil people in this world - peace will NEVER happen. Of course it won't, chaos, destruction, fear, violence, death are pretty real but peace seems to be something so hard to get. 'You expect everyone to listen to John Lennon's Imagine, hold hands and sing Kumbaya and see Unicorns and Rainbows. ' Actually it would be nice if this happens. It will never be a change if everyone thinks like that, I'm sorry "If this stops it will all go away" I'm sorry if it is wrong, I'm not from a english-speaking country and I have my grammar mistakes. No one born being a evil person, if those people had education, love and peace where they live, nothing of that would happen another shot before we kiss the other side
monketsharona 90,138
What makes me sick is that propaganda on Twitter with pictures of dying and bloody children and saying France killed them. Those pics used are from other conflicts not even concerning France. France hasn't targetted any civilian eras. It has been reported that even people from there are thankful to French army for helping getting rid of terrorists. People there need help from foreign countries. They are also victims of terrorism ! I hit you, you hit me and it becomes a bucle which never ends(?) I'm sorry but this need to stop, from both parts, there's innocent people dying France has never called for peace. Our president even said that night that he will take drastic measures. Then, where do you live? In an other reality? An other universe? "This need to stop, from both parts" that's one of the thing that will never happen. Do you know a bit of ISIS background? Those people WILL NEVER stop. They are ready to achieve their "holy quest" no matter what and their lives count nothing, they're not scared. So what? France (and West in general) should wait that those people get stronger and stronger? Conquer more territories, threaten the population from both Middle East and West? Create a real army? Your pacific intentions are noble but not realistic. It's not a fight between two kids at school that you can solve with words. The West needs to stop ISIS before it's too late and bombing SPECIFIC and STRATEGIC ISIS sites is one of the first thing to do.
Saint Laurent 4,862
The naïvety. This is a war and anybody suggesting peace is also suggesting that we cower in the face of terrorism. France is bombing training camps, it is not targeting civillian areas. To be frank, although this sounds cruel, I'd much rather innocent people in Islamic states die than my friends and family. Holding hands and singing kumbaya has never and will not defeat terrorism.

Saint Laurent 4,862
By the way, France is using violence as a tool for eventual peace, it isn't promoting aggression.

I hit you, you hit me and it becomes a bucle which never ends(?) I'm sorry but this need to stop, from both parts, there's innocent people dying If France stops bombing, innocent people will still die. You do realize that if ISIS is left alone, they will continue growing and they will become harder and harder to stop. If you leave them to do their own thing, they will spread across tons of countries (starting with the "easiest" countries, gaining power and support, and going to the next), kill whoever doesn't agree with them and eventually figuratively and literally start pulling out the big guns. ISIS won't stop killing innocent people. The truth about this conflict is that it will escalate regardless of what the rest of the world does. It is literally a matter of choosing between two evils: trying to beat ISIS with violence, or doing nothing and allowing ISIS to become more violent themselves. One of those protects Europe, and the other lets ISIS win. I'm as much of a pacifist at heart as you are, and if there were a way to prevent them from terrorizing all of Europe without killing, that would be amazing. But we have to face reality and realize there are no other choices with an organization like this. The conflict is simply already too big and f***ed up to contain in a civil way. Edit: I want to add that I'm not cheering the bombings on. I think they're disgusting and horrible, but I realize they're a necessary evil. But that does not change how s--tty it all is. G20 to discuss threat of Isis infiltrators among EU migrants after Paris attacks A White House official said Obama and Putin had agreed the United Nations would mediate negotiations between the Syrian opposition and the regime after a ceasefire. The thaw between Obama and Putin came in the lead-up to the summit’s working dinner, where G20 leaders were due to focus on strategies to counter violent extremism. Earlier in the day, the US president used his opening remarks at the summit to declare America would intensify efforts to “eliminate” Islamic State and also bring about a “peaceful transition” in Syria. The Australian prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull, had a brief discussion with president Obama before the leaders gathered for the G20 “family photo”. Turnbull and Obama will meet for longer talks at the Apec summit in Manila on Tuesday. I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it. MelbHawker 6,583
I feel sorry for all the innocent involved. War should not be happening. Those who perpetuate it and take part in it are those who should suffer during it. I keep asking myself.. 'what could possibly stop ISIS apart from attacks like these?' .. & sadly, I really can't find another answer.
