Todenhöfer was struck by the ISIL fighters belief that “all religions who agree with democracy have to die”, and by their "incredible enthusiasm"—including enthusiasm for killing "hundreds of millions" of people." Yeah they can dream but they wouldn't succeed. FreePalestine

If I know they won't be destroyed I'm just giving them what they want. but same could be said for "bomb them all. no mercy"; "carpet bomb them"etc comments, they also don't seem to care who else dies besides militants when those civilians are not from their own country. One member said "better them than me." So your concern is for another attack in your own country? That's very understandable, and I do understand your concern that the bombings could trigger another attack, but the bombings targeted military targets in a major ISIS stronghold, which should weaken ISIS, even if just a little. And even if you didn't bomb, ISIS would attack again when they got the chance to, so like I've said before, they need to do more than just bomb, but certainly not less. And of course! I'm not condoning anyone's "carpet bomb them" comment, if they're talking about civilians. However, like I said before, given the success ISIS had in killing a large number of civilians in France, they will do it again if they are not broken and get the chance to. So whether it's civilians in a country like France, or civilians who are trapped alongside ISIS forces, someone will die, and I don't think you can fault people if they'd rather it be someone they don't know instead of their mother, brother, or best friend. lego 44,165
Guys, it was nice talking to you all even if we disagree, at least no one used personal insults, as it's common in heated debates. I'm dead tired now, hope I didn't piss anyone off so my notifications don't blow up in the morning. Peace. ✌ FreePalestine
Squidward T 2,470
I Just don't know why they're now attacking Syria, they need to focus on Iran. Now I fear for Palestine, this is gonna get messy
HANZ 4,380
FINALLY everybody's always saying things like "we should bomb them all, why isn't anyone doing anything?" well France seems to be the ONLY one with balls right now, it's sad for the innocent people there but those mother ****ers need to be destroyed from earth, actually they are not even closed to be powerful, if all the major powers in the world attacked together ISIS could easily disappear. And for those shading Frace for doing this, what did you expect? are we like going to let them make terrorist attacks here and there and don't do anything about it? come on........... We go to their countries, we destroy them, we destabilize their economy, perform a cultural rape, and then when they get mad because they are literally living in a **** country that's been stomped over several times, they retaliate and then they're the monsters. What they did is horrible and it's unacceptable, but the reason they exist is because we (the west) created them by our reckless actions against them for decades. It is war that made them exist. It is war that made them attack Paris, and we just keep going through this cycle of war back and forth. So bomb them, and destroy them. But for ****s sake let's learn from this and don't ever be so ****ing irresponsible again. They are already culturally raped, stuck in a social stagnation ensured by obscurantism and reactionary ideologies, because they never experienced a cultural illumination like Age of Enlightenment... Rationalism, freedom, liberty are not existing in their dictionaries... West did not create anything, there is no such distinct separation. Even tho, Turkey is mostly muslim populated, ISIS attacks Turkey too, because Turkish legislation doesn't include any sharia laws, our women are "wh*res" for ISIS etc etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Ankara_bombings You see there is nothing west do to create ISIS, or to stop ISIS without fighting them, unless they choose to become disgustingly strict islamic country like Saudi Arabia. Their hate isn't limited to USA... If you have studied Middle Age Europe, it is what ISIS is living now... Only thing that can be done considering how violent they are, is fighting against them. Also, Paris bombings taught French Government a serious lesson... They were not supporting operations against ISIS until snake bite them just because their political interest of Syria did not want to attack any organization that kept Bashar al-Assad as weak as possible. Of course, scenario changed when these organizations threatened their national security.

Many of the people who reside in Syria and Middle Eastern countries can't escape I hate to characterize this as a "war of intention", but ISIS has the stated goal of putting the world under their rule. In areas that are already under their rule, we've seen consistent persecution of minorities, including mass killings. This will continue, on an even greater scale, if ISIS is allowed to spread. In the short-term, a military operation against ISIS would cause civilian casualties, yes, but we will be saving civilian lives in the long run. Which would you rather choose? It just goes in circles. The country is still vulnerable and they already had few false alarms. One of the attackers was "known to police", what the hell happened? Aren't these "known to police" suppose to be followed? 2 hours ago, lordgagx said: They should begin by cleaning their own country instead of attacking outside.
