This will not be a world war because IS are too small to have a chance in hell. If we bomb the crap out of them, as we should have done years ago, then they will be pretty easy to destroy. You want cops to go over there and arrest them and send them to jail? You want people that serve the military to go over there and die because you can't deal with the consequences of bombing?
