Not me thinking she was gonna be in a movie

Yeah.  But she probably will some day.  She has expressed interest in movie acting.  And Barbra Streisand wants her to star in her movie Gypsy, but nothing confirmed yet.

I'm sure all those pain medication she took for hip made severely depressed. That's what they do and it's sad.

Head Empty

Some people don't understand the concept of depression in here. It's not something that simply goes away after a good couple of weeks. Once you're on your way up it's a constant fight to keep things stable. I think TF-TFM-BTW were simply her surpressing her depression rather than dealing with it. During ARTPOP some of it came to the light because she started dealing with her addictions and her career caught up with her. Then during C2C the real healing began, and AHS is a continuation of that.

It will never be "solved" though, so it's not weird at all if she keeps saying stuff like this during future projects. It's simply impossible to stay happy forever - regardless of suffering from depression or not.

By the way, I think The Mirror is using old information from the Emotion Revolution and other interviews and simply rearranging it to make it look like something new. They're using The Sun as a source, so that already kinda proves it's crap lol.

As a depressed person, let me tell you what it is in the simplest way: It's like being horny (ofc it's a different situation, but it's still related to hormones: melatonin in the case of depression, testosterone in the case of horniness), it NEVER goes away. It has its ups and down, somedays you are better, somedays you are worse than ever.

I am well aware of what depression is. It's just that not all of us mention how horribly depressed and devastated we are in everything we talk about. And I'm pretty sure we both lack her success, recognition, or the support she gets and the fans (:emma:). While it is true that she also gets more negativity, the pros far outweigh the cons. At this point the rate at which she talks about it seems more like an outstretched (?) joke to me. That, or she has one massive ego that cannot be satisfied with anything. That is all.

But thank you for your actually informative reply. :)

Yeah, you're right. It's starting to be her "really really cool and interesting" (Britney most used words) now. She needs to say something unique, just like she did before C2C

I think it's interesting that someone who seems to be one of the most fearless women in the world, deals a lot with anxiety.

I think she just needs to just stop with meditation altogether. Medication for mental illness is just a dead end zone imo, as it makes you dependant and at some point you just feel like a 'zombie'. I'm glad she's doing yoga and meditation becuase that's exactly what helped me tremendously in combating my depressing and anxiety. I still have anxiety sometimes. I can see how acting has helped her with anxiety, I would be terrified lol with all of those cameras.

this break cleaned up her image and now she is finally the happiest Gaga that we've ever seen. I'm glad that she smiles so much now & has such a positive and free vibe.

I'm so glad that she is doing good now. If we want real music from her, she has to stay healthy and that is the #1 PRIORITY.

If acting helps her, let her do it, if jazz helps her, let her do it. Just be patient and we will get everything we want as fans, but also we will get HER as a human being and for a long time.

**** u everyone who dislike her break from music. It saved her. I can tell by how she is now that Lg5 is gonna be like TFM but with her actually experiencing all the events in the lyrics and stuff and it being more personal

Yes. But all of her albums are personal.

Typical.

"She told the paper" She didn't talk to the paper, she spoke about this at the Emotional revolution summit weeks ago. And they include stills of her smoking and getting it on with Angela. God I hate tabloids.

But it's a good message to share with the world. I could tell she was dealing with depression and I honestly worried quite a bit about her in the past. People need more understanding of mental illness. It's great to hear her open up more on her depression, it has really helped me a lot in recognizing and defining my emotional struggles and taking action.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I'm glad and all to hear that but is she always depressed? :neyde: TF/M saved her and then made her depressed, BTW saved her then hip, AP saved her then addiction/depression, C2C helped her mental illness and then AHS saved her from that completely. I wonder what LG5 will save her from tbh. :neyde:

Yes, basically she is.

Gaga has chronic depression and addictions, so she will always struggle with these two issues. She will have to constantly monitor her mental illness and tackle her addictions day by day for the rest of her life. It's like having diabetes or any other chronic illness...you monitor and adjust for the rest of your life.
