What people forget is, this is the kind of terror refugees are fleeing from. Who are we to close our gates?

It's not like the refugees can carry guns or bombs with them. They can barely carry their children.

Terrorists WILL find a way to access the country. One way or another. Sadly, I expect more countries to act the same and only cause more deaths of people who are escaping.

This is still a speculation. That one Syrian passport is not yet confirmed to be the real identity of the terrorist. And those with French and Belgian nationality for sure did not arrive to Europe with refugee crisis.

They are either born there or had to live there for years.

i read they are returners from ISIS

Yeah I agree. We need better controls and teach them our values.

Right wing asshole politicians are rubbing their hands after this tragedy. IS gave them perfect excuse - a passport, it's like they're working together. And only innocent will suffer.

**** you Polish minister. I hope you will go through one day what they go through.

It almost seems like you're more mad at the western countries than IS themselves, I don't understand you at all here. You're blaming the IS-Syrian crisis on Poland?

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

Good job Poland, it's not an obligation to take refugees, and until things are cleared out, don't take anymore.

If any country should take refugees, it should be some countries that are closer to them in religion, mentality, culture and language. So that the cultural shock isn't hard neither for the refugees nor for the territory inhabitants.

we can't expect to let the close countries take all the burden though. it's just such a complex situation and i don't feel like there's a solution that will benefit to all parties

You don't think French government keeps track of those who went to fight in Syria and then suddenly come back as if nothing happened?

that's true, but is it worth taking in refugees knowing there could be terrorists between them who will eventually attack the country's inhabitants.

I feel like most of you are mad at (and blame it all on) refugees and not IS themselves, why is that?

Exactly! There is no solution that will benefit everyone (except the wrongdoers obviously), which makes this situation even more cringing. I would cry rivers on humanity if I could, but it's like getting rid of IS isn't even the solution, a whole region on Earth is lost.

That's a good question and in my opinion it is worth taking the risk. Terrorists can simply take a flight or bribe their way into a country.

Bless you. Very true.

Absolutely not OMG! IS is taking advantage of those people migrating to put their own military into them and get them to western countries. It doesn't mean refugees lives don't matter, it's the opposite, the massacre should end NOW in a way or the other.

There should be a summit ASAP and countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran should also be present because there is a human/humanitarian urge.

I didn't see anyone doing that in this thread.
