No it is not beyond me, it is not the first time either.

There are few other still photographers who turned into directors for music video or even films.

The best example is Stanley Kubrick which becomes a legend himself for his films such as 2001: A Space Oddyssey, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Lolita, and Full Metal Jacket.

Another examples includes Spike Jonze, Anton Corbijn, Wim Wenders and so on.

Knowledge are out there, Gaga know what she is doing, though many of her fans thinks she is not.

I hope she does bring Francis or Jonas to direct her MVs again because the Applause vid wasnt on par with Gaga's other vids. Just my opinion though. Its my least favorite, even TEOG MV was better.
