Trust that she knows what she wants, that she's doing what's best for her creativity, that she's following her heart and taking care of herself. When she wasn't doing these things, she almost quit performing and making music. It seems really selfish that some fans are so concerned she's working on another jazz album. You're straight up telling her that you don't respect her work when you leave comments about wanting her to focus on LG5 instead of jazz or even AHS. Why be so cruel in literally telling her you only want certain things from her? As if the rest of her creativity and ambitions should f--- off??? It just sucks for her to have to see these comments all over social media...the platform that she uses most to communicate and keep in touch with fans. I'm pretty sure I read she stopped coming here to GGD long ago bc of the negativity. It doesn't look like we've learned from that. And as the biggest fan forum this fanbase has, I think the comments and conversations here set the tone. Sidenote: Being negative and obnoxious isn't funny, it's mostly just annoying. I think it would be nice if we were more considerate. If you have something s--tty to say, keep it to yourself (literally, all of us are anxious to hear her next pop album, you don't have to cry about it). Some of us are just pretty grateful she still has the energy and ambition to keep creating, working and interacting with us. We can all agree she's been through a ton and most others would have burnt out or given up by now. A lot of fans have it all backwards - not just in this fanbase but pop culture in general. Fans act like they deserve something, just because they're being a "good" fan. But it's the other way around. Artists down owe us anything, but we owe the artist. Gaga has already provided us with countless hours worth of entertainment, and we've even been able to create an entire online community thanks to her. And yet some fans still demand that she only makes a certain kind of music, as if they own her? Nobody forced you to buy her albums. Nobody forces you to go to her shows. You don't have to be her fan. You're a fan because of your own enjoyment and you can thank Gaga for that, so you're in no place to demand anything. For example, I don't like jazz music at all and I think it's very boring + she can sing jazz after 20-30 years not now. I'm here for her pop songs and that's all. There's a difference in praising everything and being supportive. I don't like soccer. If my best friend decides to become a professional soccer player, do I have to b---h about it? No, I can still support him and help him if he's having a hard time. Do I have to be on the sidelines screaming YAAAAAAASSSSS at every match? No, but I'm sure he'd appreciate it if I show some basic interest in what he's doing and not b---hing about his life descisions. Might be a slightly skewed comparison, but the point remains the same. That's great, but some people are constantly vocal about it and it's very mean and unnecessary. I can understand not being excited by jazz, but there's no reason to basically tell her what to do or make her feel bad for doing what she wants. Not saying that that's what you do - it's just what I've noticed. If you read carefully - I didn't say support or be excited for everything she does - I meant support her in general. I don't think some fans understand how crappy it is for them to be so negative about something she clearly cares about. It's weird behavior, in my opinion.
