This was a great episode. I started having my doubts about the season over the past two episodes but I'm firmly back on board now. So much happened! And Gaga is still getting better each episode.

I'm confused about Tristan though. The Countess told Liz to bury him, but he died in the hotel? So won't he be a ghost? Or does that just apply to humans?

Just had remembered what she told Tristan a few episodes ago: "And don't fall in love. That part you save you me. The only thing that can undue you now is your own recklessness." She told him. :S

It's creepy baby from season 1. There was a scene with a ball, like the creature in season 1 was throwing a ball too.

The guy throwing the ball was Beau, Constance ' s son.

The creepy baby from season 1 is Infantana, the Montgomery 's son.

The Countess child wasn't introduced before last episode..

I do not like the feelings of "Wait, did I miss an episode?" and that's what Ryan did with Liz and Tristan. I can see it being a "twist" but there was absolutely NO hints or leads suggesting to any kind of friendship/relationship formed between the two, correct? So, it was out of the blue. I wasn't a fan of it. It also made for killing Tristan to have absolutely no emotional effect on me. I was happy when Tristan died.

As for the episode, I loved it! Gaga looked stunning in every scene and she really had no monotone lines. I was very excited to see Doctor Montgomery before the d--gs completely took him over, it was a nice add to s1. I was expecting the baby to be much more of a terrifying demonesque baby though, so that was a cool surprise. The black eyes being shown before actually seeing the baby was fantastic, a great job on the directors part. I still am beyond curious for answers for the pregnancy, and I hope they all get addressed.

Also, my boyfriend brought up a great point for this episode. I said a lot of people may think John is the ten commandments killer, but that'd be too much of an obvious twist. But, then my boyfriend mentioned something interesting. He said "Why did James March invite him to the serial killer dinner? Because he is a serial killer." And that brought up a really interesting point I somehow didn't notice yet.

i think the consensus is clear that after this episode Gaga has done a good job separating herself from the Countess and making he Countess her own character. I love the juxtaposition of her heartless killing of Tristan to her nurturing and vulnerable relationship with Bartholomew

I'm pretty sure the Countess also knows about Iris.... She was saying how she could hear Liz's heartbeat and in that scene Tristan said Iris smells different. Surely she must be able to sense Iris is a vampire

Pretty sure the Countess is just waiting to see what Iris has planned, I think the Countess is smarter than she lets on... And she already let's on that she is pretty smart to begin with

That's like the main reason people think he's the killer tho :laughga:

lmao, I know I'm terrible. I try my hardest to try to not think too deep because I love twists. But it's always so obvious. :derpga:
