MannyMonster98 31
Hey yall! So I am new here to Gagadaily first off all:) But secondly and more importantly, I really wanted to know what is yall's HONEST opinion on the deep vocal style that Gaga uses occasionaly in some of her songs including Dope and TIHTY. Tbh I don't really know how to specifically describe the vocals but they sound very theatrical and deep. Gaga never used this opera-like singing technique in her music during the first few years of her career though. I noticed that she started using it once the ARTPOP era had started. Gaga even recently used it in the chorus of her *slaying* cover of Chic's "I Want Your Love". She could *possibly* even use it on her upcoming album (not stating anything, just speculating)! I personally do like it when she sings this way and I find it very raw and almost BADASS sounding, but I do also enjoy hearing her sing at a normal vocal register especially in the choruses of her songs. IDK...So I want to hear your honest opinions on it! Do you personally prefer it when Gaga hits those low deep vocals? Do you want to hear them on LG5? Let me know and don't be shy;)

DrKindnessKunt1999 6,062
Personally, I LOVE her deep vocals. I think that'll it be interesting if she sings with those vocals in more songs. But, I'm also hoping for higher vocals like she sang in the beginning of "Brooklyn Nights", too
Peroxide 9,202
I actually really do love her low notes.
moonboywow 3,136
I like it. Some people don't like it because it's different and they don't understand it. They see wigs and lipstick and they shut down because the wigs and lipstick aren't "pretty enough" or good enough or marketable enough and those fans think they know better than gaga. Quasi 10,923
Welcome to GGD! OT: I'm very "meh" about the whole thing. I think they can sound good in certain songs (i.e. IWYL) but her vocal ability really shines when she's hitting mid-range and higher notes. And to me that's also when her voice sounds the best and easiest to listen to. When you get too deep, the overall tone and sound are a bit harsher. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas.
mariomania1234 11,368
Welcome to Gaga Daily! I personally like this style of vocal if it's not too overbearing. I think it's executed better on TIHTY.
Sister 9,907
I love it. I love everything about Gaga's voice. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
paul 687
Welcome I like them on TIHTY, powerful
Kermit 15,807
I only like her deep vocals on TIHTY and IWBWU, everything else is eh. If she's gonna do rock i'd only want her to use the vocal tone she did during the tribute to Sting. I'm certain that Gaga has hidden vocal capabilities and notes too. “For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. PrinceGaga 7,585
Welcome!!! I love them on TIHTY but I'm not a fan of Dope tbh
ShockPop 7,747
No. They fit the theme of dope. She should have stopped there. The Brookland nights vocal was also gross in a cheesy way. She should stick to her own natural singing voice like in speechless or you and I.
Warholian 6,880
I feel like they're a little too.. operatic? Just the way she uses vibrato makes it sound overly theatrical for me. I actually liked them on Dope but TIHTY, especially the beginning, wasn't for me. Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more? PartySick 159,825
Welcome to GGD I love her deep, dramatic vocals. It's part of the reason Dope is probably my favorite song of hers 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
Church 849
Like i've said before, it sounds like the has a d*ck stuck in her throat. It sounds fake, try hard, put on, bad. The only time it wasn't awful was in IWYL kiss kiss
