AlphaMonster 1,806 Posted November 8, 2015 Share Posted November 8, 2015 Usage of the word is open to discussion in academia or even in gay community.Because issues pertaining to transgender community, and its arguments are fundamentally different, but similar when interpreted superficially. Personally, while being open to such discussion, I don't have any problems with the term "lgbt" or "lgbti" (or whatever, it can really long tho ). But I would never sign this such petition because this petition is far from being rational. Their arguments are irrationally motivated, therefore fail to be rational despite their efforts, and profoundly contradictory to whole gay rights movement in my opinion.
