"I'm not homophobic, but gay stuff is just shoved in my face all the time. Gay people like to act like they're really oppressed but we just legalized gay marriage and I've never seen someone make fun of a gay person. Their life really isn't that hard! It's harder being a straight guy nowadays because we're always criticized by this gay-loving culture. I'm just sick of seeing everything turn into something for the gays- I want it to be more equal," say the ignorant people who clearly ignore stories like this. 

It's a shame that this kind of thing still goes on, and embarrassing that someone who knows what it's like to not feel welcome in their country would do such a thing to another person. Spend all that energy and hard work on changing your life for the better and still have the time to hurt another person? Heartless.

This is not Syria. They should stop acting like they have any kind of say as to what someone can do or be. 

This is making me look at the entire Refugee issue in a different perspective. But we'll see how this particular develops, and if it'll affect how the refugees treat the Europeans. If they can't adapt to their new environment, and the laws and rights of the people who live there (including themselves), then they should leave tbqfh.

I mean my God, you'd think being discriminated against just because you're a refugee would make you think about how you should treat others, let alone others going through the exact same thing as you.

I remember walking through a Muslim-dominated district of my city with my ex-boyfriend (who was also a muslim) and there were some Muslims called us names. Of course it's not all Muslims, but what Evangelicals are in the USA are Muslims here. I mean Evangelicals are bad here too, but they are not as big as other religious minorities. And of course not all Muslims are like that.
