Bitter 3,640 Posted November 5, 2015 Author Share Posted November 5, 2015 Maybe, just MAYBE, she wouldn't suit that kind of song, because her voice is too powerful so maybe she'd oversing them, but I just LOVE that kind of song... like Madonna's "Time Stood Still" and yeah, "Frozen". I just want something really dramatic and heartfelt and beautifully sang. Of course she can still be fun and rock the (gay) clubs but it'd be great to see more layers now that she's almost 30. I'm sure she has it in her. I still think "Dance In The Dark" is the closest she ever got to pop perfection. SweetEscape 654 Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 After ARTPOP's underperformance and with all the nonsense and pretentious art stuffNot recycled tunes, not silly and incomprehensible lyrics, not basic and dated production.She should stay away from songs like Donatella, Jewels N Drugs, Mary Jane Holland etc. These songs are listenable for like 1 month, she just needs to release great songs. Just a great song and not someone trying to shove art down people's throat 24/7 while giving 1000 interviews explaining the meaning of a song/album with the pretentious attitude: <<i'm a real artist and i have nothing to do with the other pop girls, i make art blah blah blah>>. The biggest problem with the last era was that gaga' makeup artist had more to do with the direction of the album than her manager did. Plain and simple she didn't have the support of a team that believed in her as a musician, only a product. She is in a better place now and can do much better. And if she's all about the "Hybrid" then we may just get that. I actually relate to all her songs. They all tell a different story, and at the end of the day the power of language in art is you get to decide if it relates to you and how it does, its not the artist's fault if you don't.I would love to see her peel back and show us a bit more of the vulnerability though so i can agree that would be nice; but still keeping the signature Gaga touch. I just know and believe she will do what she believes in and it will be different from the albums before, as all her albums always have been. She is one artists where no album sounds the same, nor the songs on them. There are other's where their album just blends. Each episode of AHS makes me more and more thirsty for her new music!
