Just of the top of my heads albums released in 2014/2015 that are better than 1989 LP1 Crybaby FROOT BADLANDS To Pimp A Butterfly Honeymoon Broke With Expensive Taste But I mean it's all subjective. I just feel those albums showed more originality and skill. I don't think it was the best album released during the time period. It was by far the one with the most impact and success. It was the album of the year, even if wasn't the best album released. It was the biggest, most talked-about, etc. To Pimp a Butterfly was the best album of the year, imo, musically speaking.
