Not everyone has to write music

That way of thinking is kinda flawed. Not all musicians have the drive, inspiration, calling, to write music. Some never even think about it.

Well, but we're talking about Rihanna..it's not like she's a Diana Ross!!!

No I know some just can't write even if they tried and they're more suited to just singing, performing. But Rihanna is only an okay singer. She can't really be picky at this point. Now Beyonce, the whole getting people to give her songs system is different. It works there cos she makes up for it by being an exceptional singer and performer.

well maybe if she actually put effort into the music instead of having dozens of other people do it for her, she would like the album  i can get not being able to write lyrics but does she even help with producing? is she even there when they make this album? because as far as im concerned, the most she's ever done in terms of participation for this album was directing the Bitch Better Have My Money video which might not even be on Anti  

I know she said that she was gonna do a lot of the work for the album but wasn't it said that there were a ton of writers making songs for her? This is so messy. If you can't handle creating a musical direction or having the creativity/time to immerse yourself in the process of making the album then you shouldn't just dive right into it. 

i don't really like her music, i'm more here for her aesthetic, but i was interested in this album and it looks like we ain't even getting it anytime soon  girl better sort her mess out
