Writing music is not a prerequisite to being a singer; she has a unique and marketable voice and that differentiates her. If she can't write sufficient enough quality music to suit her vision in artistry and image, then I don't see it as a problem that she recruits other people. Writing music isn't as simple and easy as you think, although it might seem that way from the outside. It probably isn't her strong suit and thus she relies on the help of others. Just because people write the music doesn't necessarily mean she's lazy. She's clearly quite particular about the music she chooses to sing and that is where her effort lies.

tbh I'm happy that we don't know the title and the concept of LG5 but we know for sure that Gaga has some damn good songs (well, redone is pretty helpful on that)… The opposite happened with ANTI and it's already a mess

This is part of what made ARTPOP a step down commercially from Gaga's previous work as well. We knew the title of the record a year before it came out (if that's the case here, then I wish the Navy best of luck). I think it's good Gaga's keeping quiet on the details, she probably learned from her mistake and is going to keep mum on the details until she's about to release the album. 

OT: I just hope RiRi can put something out soon. I'm glad she's looking for quality, but it's been almost 3 years since her last album. I guess we'll see whatever happens.

I feel really bad for Rihanna. She has really nice and fun music, but I wish they'd get their stuff together. I mean, I'm sure whatever they have recorded is better than MANY other albums released by popstars in the last 5 years. It sucks that there are probably 50 demos or more and they make the wrong choice when it comes to choosing the official tracklisting.

Sometimes I wish she'd rather do a 3 part album like Green Day or Robyn and just release 8 songs at a time. I have the feeling that there are so many people involved in the project that they can't even get organized on that.

I think all she (like everybody) needs to do is creating something she believes in, working with good people and work. :)

This...she's doing it for the wrong reasons and that's maybe why she also can't come through with hr music she wants....it's artificial and not authentic thefore she's not happy with it

I understand it's not easy to write music for anyone...even song writers like Gaga. However, I feel the reason why she is getting frustrated and perhaps even her writers is because she DOESN'T really know the concept well...what's ANTI? 

Since she's not writing her music, the only thing she can do is convey the theme of the album, but if she doesn't really GET it...how can they? There's a lack of communication somewhere and either SHE or THEY aren't getting it
