I hope this sheds some light to people that identify to being something else like I do. I identify as an alien from another planet. I hope we can support each other and stop the discrimination. Let a people marry stone bridges, cars, or dogs. Let flashers have their moment. Let people sniff baby powder, or live off diets of human hair. Let boys become girls. Let Steampunkers work the cash register. If a Wiccan woman identifies as a witch and spends her weekends mixing love potions, and if that brings fulfillment to her life, I don't care if it's a lie. She can be a witch. If your Mother dyes her hair from grey to black, and lies about her age, we all know it's a lie. I'll call her 40 and not 50 if that makes her happy.If someone wants to spend thousands of dollars on plastic breasts, and changes her name from Ruth to Barbie, I will indulge that lie and call her Barbie.If Rachel Dolezal wants to add texture to her hair and dye her skin in order to join of a group of individuals who she feels a connection to, I will indulge that lie, and call her Black.She isn't hurting anyone, she is living her life in a way that brings her fulfillment.
