thatfoxyfeeling 12,956
It's actually sad looking at that list and seeing all those talented artists no longer popular. Let's not forget X Factor live shows is on for 12 weeks and then the winner is usually guaranteed Christmas number 1.

PerfectMonster 203
Adele is over even though she is debuting more in the UK than other pop girls do in the U.S. Flopasarus Rex. Flopele. TwentyFlop. "Hello... It's flop."
GagaMyBlood95 9,915
Only 333k without any promo, anything but a simple yet beautiful video and her voice. Tragedy for sure..

PartySick 155,571
The woman sells 333k and people call her a flop, I hate pop cultureOkay? I'm not quite sure what your point is. The ones who sold higher than her had gigantic TV audiences...Adele sold what she did on name alone. She sold 333k in one week and that very rarely happens here. Let's just celebrate that and not try and discredit such an amazing achievement. These tbh.Like, I understand AdeleDaily has gotten a little dry 'cause it's success after success, record broken, new goal surpassed, etc, but who honestly cares? She's a talented woman who's still at number one and all she had to do is say "hello".Just wait 'til the U.S. charts get a hold of her. The country will go bankrupt buying 25. 🧡The blindfold's off my eyes, all I see for me is better days🧡
holy scheisse 22,164
Gaga's always appreciated outside of her home country more, too.Perhaps its just a thing.
craig 680
Who cares?!! She's gonna break records here in the US! #SlaydeleWhat's interesting is how much lower the bar for singles sales is in the US. Flo Rida with 636k is the all-time itunes record. She'll likely smash that tomorrow. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6738480/adele-hello-record-us-digital-salesBut in the smaller UK market, that 636k figure has been beat several times since 2000
MelbHawker 6,583
If she was an X Factor winner, should only have the 7th best debut week.Except she's not an X Factor Winner, she's a Album of the Year Grammy winner.

craig 680
"Since she only sold 259k in UK (the rest in streaming equivalent), could she now be bigger in America than her home country?".I guess it's about even since the US is 5x bigger, and Adele's appeal transcends pop so she can capitalize on even non-pop segments of US market. For a pure pop act to sell more than 4x as much Stateside, they'd likely have to be bigger with US pop fans. than at home.

Have you seen the UK sales lately? You're increasingly tragic craig. I was going to say that I was shocked that you would try and make Hello seem as though it's a flop but... I'm actually not at all. craig 680
Kworb also suggests Adele is dominating more in North America. http://kworb.net/pop/Bieber is #2 everywhere, but as a percentage of Adele he is 23 US, .27 Canada, .44 Aus, ,47 UK. And Bieber has typically done better in North America.
