Demonstrators 'execute' fake Jews at pro-Palestinian protest

"Thousands marched in Casablanca, Morocco on Sunday, in a show of solidarity for Palestinians amid the recent wave of Israeli-Palestinian violence, according to a video released by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

Demonstrators — among them teenagers and young children — wearing smocks bespattered in red paint, or the colors of the Palestinian flag, chanted, “Death to Israel,” and “We will sacrifice our soul and our blood to you, Al-Aqsa,” in reference to the holy site in Jerusalem that has reportedly been at the center of the recent terror surge in Israel.

“We are proud of these strong ties, under the guidance of the king, in support of the Palestinian people,” Zohei Al-Shan — who was named in the video as the Palestinian ambassador to Morocco — said on camera.

Another part of the demonstration, also featured in a video uploaded to Facebook, shows two men dressed in Orthodox Jewish garb — albeit with obscenely tall cylindrical black hats — being led by West Bank Palestinian activists in black-and-white kaffiyehs (as opposed to the traditionally green ones worn by their counterparts in the Gaza Strip) holding toy assault rifles behind a miniature float of the Dome of the Rock.

At one point in the MEMRI video, the two “Orthodox” men are seen chipping away at the Dome of the Rock with pickaxes. They are subsequently rounded up, fake-stabbed and “executed.”

The current violence was prompted in part by rumors that Israel was trying to change the status quo on the Temple Mount, allowing Jews the long-barred right to pray there — a charge Israel forcefully denies. On Sunday, Israel and Jordan agreed to round-the-clock monitoring of the site to help maintain security.

Underneath the Morocco video posted on Facebook, the user wrote “Nazislamisme in action in Casablanca, Morocco on Sunday under the auspices of the authorities,” apparently using a portmanteau combining Nazism with Islam.

The demonstration showed clear demonization of Israeli soldiers and Orthodox Jews. Protesters marched across the Israeli flag laid out on the ground, and garbage collectors threw trash into plastic bags decorated with the Israeli flag."

Didymus

Mess, this whole thing is getting out of control again.

But I will repeat what I've said many times before: if no effort is made to purify Israel's reputation, either by finally sanctioning them for the violating of international law or by initiatives that seek to distinguish Israel's policies from Israel's citizens, this will remain predictable and logical and condemning these people for genuinely believing in deliberately offered misconceptions and simplifications is just a contribution to the pointless lack of productiveness surrounding this whole issue.

I don't see a solution until the current wave of Islamist fanaticism, extremism, and aggression dies down. Not until Moslims are no longer fighting each other in Syria etc etc will they be ready to make peace with Jews.

I think extremist Jews also play a role in it

When you find ONE video from MEMRI tv with translation from Hebrew of all the incitement and hate speech from orthodox rabbis, soldiers and Israeli politicians - I might take it as serious source.

The whole goal of MEMRI is to edit, mistranslate and search for most extreme in Middle East to demonize everyone - except Israeli Jews.

I think the world sees that there is no outrage in Israel or among pro-Israel Jews abroad about real executions. Real extra judicial killings. Instead there is public support!

So I don't know why you expect that everyone cries if someone else "fakes it", IF it's even true, because again MEMRI is not a reliable source.

And Israeli soldiers and orthodox settlers are not demonized by others, people are not blind, you know.

There are also tons of orthodox people living outside of those settlements. Does that meant they should be ridiculed? Also I wonder what you'd have to say if something like that happened with people faking an "execution" of woman with headscarves or burqas.

But do they support all the crimes of Israeli government and other settlers? Or do they protest against them?

No I never said they should all be ridiculed, but it's also clear towards whom that ALLEGED message is. It's like someone would be dressed in black ISIS type of clothing and others fake-execute one of them.

It's really interesting to bring up muslim women now, when many are actually harassed and beaten up on the streets. Nothing fake about that.

Again, I don't support any of that, if it really happened, but it's really hypocritical to create huge outrage about that while no one bats an eye on real executions.

Well, do muslims protest against all those radical Muslims? No.

Yeah, Muslim woman get harassed, but so do Jewish men and woman. (it speaks for itselfs that synagogues, jewish schools and other jewish institution needs to get police security)

Yes they did many times. And those who don't protest, openly condemn and educate others not to fall into that.

Yes they all get police security, unlike mosques, but that's another issue.

That can be also said about Jews then :p

Yeah, because Mosques are not on that threat like synagogues are. At least in Germyn :flop:

Yes they are, mosques, refugee centers all over the West have been repeatedly vandalized or burned and sometimes there were even bomb threats. Some people were stabbed to death right after exiting mosque.

Those Jews who are vocal against Israeli government don't seem to care much about these type of demonstrations?
