I think the trouble is, I sometimes just look at her as Gaga but that's because the role was not only wrote with her obviously in mind, but it's based on a lot of her mannerisms and the show she puts on in general. It is intentionally emotionless, so you have to be a world-class actress to reveal just enough to let the audience in on the emotions underneath. I don't think she's doing that very well...but once I got the idea of her character I could at least see what she was doing. SO I think it's good considering her experience.
