Duella Dvil 10,424
Not to trivialize anything you feel in the slightest, but often people wish for what they don't have. I remember once reading that Nicole Kidman and Denise Richards grew up with major body issues. Nicole thought she was too tall, hated her red hair and ivory skin. I think Denise was called "fish face" because of her lips as a teen (or maybe that was Angelina Jolie). Nicole was considered one of the world's most desirable women in the 90's as was Denise in the early millenium. If you understand what people find attractive about you, I would choose to embrace that. Build it up! Of course, if all the other stuff really bothers you perhaps you could talk to your doctor about what foods or physical routines you could engage in to add some bulk and clear up your skin. As for the crooked chest, I've known of a couple of people that have had physical issues. Is it a question of symmetry or is there a large dip (concave)? You don't have to answer that question of course but I know there are some surgical procedures that can adjust physical abnormalities (if that is a route you would consider, just make sure you consult your doctor thoroughly). You also may want to get checked that it doesn't affect your breathing.May I ask how old you are? Sometimes skin issues clear up on their own over time. My great aunt grew up with really oily skin in her teens and now well into her eighties she has such soft smooth skin. Sometimes something as simple as getting more sun or vitamins can do wonders. :)20 next month. Thank you so much. froot 659
I don't get upset about what others buy to their kids. But I'm not buying them to my own. There are plenty of other toys. And they do promote unrealistic body image, if you ever raise a girl in future or work with them, you might understand what I'm talking about. Yeah, but you need to learn that just because you don't like them doesn't mean your kids don't, let them have it, like you are restraining them just because you don't like something feel the fever
lego 44,165
Yeah, but you need to learn that just because you don't like them doesn't mean your kids don't, let them have it, like you are restraining them just because you don't like something Excuse me? Don't try to teach me parenting please. There is nothing missing from my kids and they won't suffer if they don't play with a bratz doll. lmao Do you think it's good to buy to a small child whatever he/she wants? Many products are made colorful and fun only to attract child's attention, but they can be useless or even harmful. Even food, like junk food is promoted in that way, you get this and that toy when you buy happy meal or whatever. Then your child gets hooked on junk food, throws tantrums when normal food is offered, gets fat, gets bullied for being fat...whose fault is all that, where it all started? You know there are many other toys besides plastic doll with s-xy lips, which can actually stimulate child's intelligence, toys which help develop social and emotional skills etc. I mean, why are you all bothered over my opinion on this issue? Worry about your own children when/if you have them and buy them whatever they want, if you think that's the right thing to do. FreePalestine

Excuse me, literally, you said that you are not going to buy them for your kids because they 'promote unrealistic body image' literally it's a toy, kids are supposed to have fun with it, not go 'omg she looks so thin she is goals' no literally it's a kid, just let them choose what they want. You're one of those parents who controls their sons/daughters and gets them things that YOU want not what they want, if your child wants Barbie let him/her. Just because you seem to hate them for some stupid reason doesn't mean your child has to. feel the fever

They aren't your children. The parents decide what values they want to teach their children. As long as these values aren't racist, homophobic, or bigoted in nature, why would it matter to someone outside the family unit? You can decide what toys you buy for your child, or what books and music you buy for them, or what movies or tv shows you let them see. Parents decide these choices for kids in every corner of the world and have been doing so for ages.
