Everything you said in the OP is true : she's had great success with her first album, good sales and great hits and people knows her.But, i have yet to see what would make Meghan a 'Popgirl' for me : where are the amazing clothes, where are the outstanding performances (she sings well, but nothing screams WOW to me compared to some performances of Gaga, Beyoncé, even Rihanna), the iconic moments, the 'fanbase' (i know she has one but we don't hear much from them..)? For me, there are very few of these things YET. I don't know. Maybe in her second album i will consider her as a popgirl.
