Basically, Interscope is responsible for the album's lack of momentum. Add to that the fact that Troy Carter left Gaga like two days before she dropped her album and they created the perfect storm, if you ask me. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me. Bad Monster Kid 13,140 Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 She should have stuck with Venus. DWUW was overwhelming praised from the get go with Venus getting a tepid reaction. However Venus is much more of a grower. Didn't like it at first but it has now become my favorite from ARTPOP.(same exact experience I had when Judas came out). Even with its campiness the GP would have been hooked after a handful of listens on radio. Not to mention how iconic the planetary countdown and Ur**** line would have become.
