Something that genuinely speaks to people. You can go deep and it doesn't have to be a slow song. I think people think that way too much. That in order for a song to be meaningful and deep it has to be slow. Just look at migraine, house of gold, this is gospel, don't you worry child, new Americana, gasoline.
