A vehicle drove into the crowd of spectators causing the deaths and dozens of injuries.Three people were pronounced dead shortly after the crash, the fourth victim died at OU Medical Center, the hospital confirmed to News On 6 before 6:30 p.m.The two identities we can confirm through sources at this time are:Nikita Nakal, of Mumbai, India, was an MBA student at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, the university confirmed.Nash Lucas, 2 years old. His mother is an OSU student, the family tells News On 6.The driver of the car, 25-year-old Adacia Chambers, has been arrested for driving under the influence. Police say she is currently a Stillwater resident but not an OSU student. For a long time they've been pointing out that cars have done a lot more damage than privately owned guns, yet no one's complaining about them.It also reminds me of the people who defend harmless hallucinogens against the dangers of alcohol abuse that are so widespread nowadays and that are also massively linked to (unintentional) violence.I guess the conclusion is that people will use anything, even the least dramatic looking or sounding gateways to violence when the problem that is mental health isn't touched at its core.In any case, this is very sad. Luiz 4,253 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Share Posted October 25, 2015 No, if someone planned to drink the night out, they can ask a friend to drive or yo fetch them or ride uber etc.you're right but once their actually drunk those plans can go out the window. they;ll think oh i'm just going to have a few and just get a tiny bit buzzed but then the alcohol kicks in and makes them drink more. of course if they dont travel using a car in the first place there should be no way something can go wrong but its not like everyone will do that. some people will want to save money and not even care. they already know its irresponsible but there are certain people who will still not care and take the risk basically what i'm saying is that people themselves wont entirely clean up their act to prevent these things. it will take the passing of laws to protect people from their intoxicated selves I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.
