Tbh yea even though i love them both and Taylor might possibly have missed her chance on another number 1 single, Wildest Dreams would perform the same no matter what time of release , we all expected to be a top 10 hit regardless

New Romantics however seemed like her next number one record and song of the summer but now that winter is approaching and Adele is in the game , i think NR missed it's mark and that's sad.

The era has been fading ever since the hype from Bad Blood started dying so yes. Y'all just want to drag her for it when it's totally normal and nothing to be embarrassed about. Like, 8M selling album, hasn't left top 10 in a year, hit singles, hit videos, hit tour, Grammy favorite etc etc and New Romantics is probably still coming to hold her over until Grammy week
