What a joy it is to see someone in a concert crowd who isn't filming everything on their phone and just getting lost in the beauty of the music being performed right in front of them, as opposed to focusing on holding their hand steady and angling the camera. A sea of phone lights can look pretty at evening concerts but when that's all you see for song after song, you wonder if the audience is really feeling it. Because when you are, you let yourself go and filming should be the last thing on your mind. When I saw Gaga at artRave, she was directly above me and I was just transfixed throughout.
