Serendipity 7,821 Posted October 21, 2015 Share Posted October 21, 2015 The boys took to Twitter shortly after they were forced to cancel their Belfast gig at the last minute after Liam fell ill The gig was cancelled minutes before it was due to startOne Direction's Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have apologised to devastated fans after their Belfast concert was cancelled just minutes before it was due to begin.The superstar boyband were due to kick off their three night stint in SSE Arena on Tuesday night but pulled out at the last minute after Liam Payne was taken ill.Taking to Twitter after the news broke, Harry was first to address fans."Deepest apologies to everyone at the show tonight in Belfast. Very disappointed, but unfortunately these things happen. We're very sorry," the singer shared.Moments later Louis also tweeted, writing: "We're so sorry for what happened tonight, it was out of our control! Lots of love to Liam and thank you for being so understanding!"Niall and Liam are still yet to publicly comment.Deepest apologies to everyone at the show tonight in Belfast. The band apologise to their fans and wish Liam well as soon as possible."Devastated Directioners travelled from the likes of Holland, France, Greece and further afield to Belfast just to see their idols in concert, before the boys go their separate ways next year.
