i think a lot people get her wrong when she say something about her influences.

edge of gloy was described by herself as stadium rock. and yes, there is something about this. but in the end its a pop-dance track.

i´m really sure lg5 will be less electronic and more organic.

mark me: savage garden - to the moon and back and xtinas - fighter give us a slightly clue of the direction

OMG, you like Savage Garden??????!!!!!!!!!  I absolutely love them!!   :sara:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Oops!!!  I forgot to comment on the topic posted in the OP.  I sure hope Gaga brings back rock but to be honest, I could care less if Gaga releases a pure pop album or funk or disco.  I just want to hear her amazing vocals on a new album again!!   :music:

Ive been listening to stuck on ****in you recently, I don't really think its rock but its not pop either, I'd quite like to hear a finished song something in that vein.

She's a rockstar in a pop star's body, isn't she? Her cover of 'Whats Up' is her best so far (in regards to songs she hasn't wrote herself) and 'You and I' is a masterpiece. She CAN do it but WILL she is another discussion. :crossed: In my opinion, it will happen one day, but probably not anytime soon. I'd expect it for LG7 or later. 'ARTPOP' was a risk in a lot of ways and that didn't go the way she wanted so I believe Gagz will be playing it safe until further notice.

Yes, what you've stated makes perfect sense.  It would be amazing but I've resigned myself to the fact that it probably won't happen for another two album cycles.  That's not a problem for me, though.  I will patiently wait around for it.  ;)

Same. I'm hoping she makes some of her songs more rock-friendly on her next tour. Not too many, but a few. Just to switch it up. Add some more live guitar to 'Bad Romance' or give edge to 'G.U.Y' so it's less pop. She tends to do that for ballads and 'You and I' but that's almost expected. It's the closest we'll get to a rock album for a long time and it'll surprise everyone.

Can't she make a variety of genres in one album? Maybe at least ONE rock song? Or a jazz rock metal pop something fusion? I don't know?

I know Rob Halford from Judas Priest said he would like to collaborate with her. Though that's metal.
