If you're audience isn't loving what you're doing, you're not doing your job. Although, having said that, negative press can also steer you in the wrong direction, because it is an outsider view. You can't really do mistakes in art. You can make mistakes in advertising and marketing, but that's another thing. She's talking about the art, and that's what it's about. Well, it's the best decision for her to make. The NME story let me think she might have read to much stuff like that and may have had some struggle with it, and I hope this way she manages to blank that negative stuff out of her mind. I'm still a little sad since this looks like she won't be on TV for a loooong time. I love her interviews... I need to hear her talking voice tbh. ._.
