Definitely 2009/10 by nearly every conceivable measure, separate from quality. But how amazing that six years after the fact, she's having this major resurgence and turning point in we career.

I can't like your post since I'm out of likes but I agree with you so much! 2013 is by far her worst year, broken hip, album delayed, messy era ending up in a blackout and a depression.

If we're talking Gaga popularity/star power:

1) 2010

2) 2009/2011

3) 2009/2011

4) 2013/2015

5) 2013/2015

6) 2012

7) 2014

8) 2008

I will give the edge to 2009 for second and 2013 for fourth although they are close

2010 - THE FAME MONSTER ERA- The PEAK of her already METEORIC RISE to FAME.

People will love gaga's music if its accessible- it doesn't have to be generic but it has to make sense.

People are fawning over her acting as it is and this extra hype is working its magic. After proving she has talent again 2015 on wards seems like a good staple in her career for an entry onto the new path.

Sort of like some amazing black female artist before her-from 4 comes Beyonce. I am certain Gaga will be fine next album cycle and I mean look at current opening weeks 190,000 was the tops... and ARTPOP did 225,000 so I am certain that Gaga will destroy careers if these sales continue ( only a strictly SALES perspective).

2010 I mean she was already being called the Queen of Pop :air: until Adele came along with 21 and ruined everything in 2011

I agree with most of this but I think 2013 should be between 2014 and 2012. Even though she was getting a lot of backlash, think about the excitement when she announced the ARTPOP album and single release date. Then her big Applause video debut on GMA. Applause reaching #4, her flawless VMA performance The amazing reaction to DWUW when it was first heard. ARTPOP debuting at #1. The emotional DWUW performance at the AMA's. DWUW peaking at #13 on the Hot 100 and #7 on Mainstream Radio Top 40. And actually DWUW was a lot more popular in other countries outside of the US. 2008 was just in intro to her and 2012 was just her Born This Way Ball.

2015 because she is gaining acceptance with the public, not just monsters.

And because she is finally being recognized for the most important thing ... helping others.  At the end of the day we are not defined by our occupations, but by who we are as people.   Kindness defines Gaga.

I live outside the space time continuum.
