Would you be here for LG5's lead being a 'simple' party anthem?

I would 10000000% be here for it.

Obviously "simple" is a hard word to use, because even Gaga's lighter songs often contain really good hooks that are far from "simple" but would you be happy if the lead single was just about partying? She's working with RedOne again who has made tonnes of songs about partying so is it about time Gaga serves us a Just Dance 2.0?

Your thoughts.

PS - Don't come in here with panties twisted, if you're detecting something wrong with the OP or you think I'm demanding this or whatever you like to make up, you're misreading.

If it gets an interesting video that doesn't just show people partying then yea, why not.

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

I think she should be on the safe side this time around, but for the lead single she needs something like Bad Romance. She pretty much admitted she'll be making songs like Just Dance & Bad Romance on LG5 anyway.

As long as it sounds fresh and inventive.

I'll be completely honest, I want Gaga to put out some powerful emotional music, but I don't want the era to get kicked off being too serious. We have not had a real club banger from Lady Gaga since Applause, and that was over two years ago.

She practically has been doing covers and ballads for 18 months now.

If Gaga can create a dance hit that sounds fresh and original, then yes, it would be better to go this route than **** out some boring "Dope" sounding song that feels too waddled down in it's aesthetic and leaves the rest of the album not even charting.

I'm sorry if I offended people who like "Dope", but nothing about Dope is really that fresh or inventive, it isn't really that personal (it feels like someone creating a depressed character, not coming from personal experiences), and it just sounds gray and lackluster. Not to mention the vocals are rather forced and unemotional.

If we could get a Just Dance with thumping basslines and maybe some disco or rock in there, then yes, give me another Just Dance. You can put out a ballad as the third single.

I wouldn't mind a Just Dance 2.0 but I'm a stan for Gaga because of her meaningful and deep music

So sure, why not? as long as it's not an album full of Just Dance's I'll be here for it :legend:

Yes.  We all know Gaga's song writing capabilities, so we really shouldn't mind if she played it safe this time around, or well for at least one song.

To be honest, I think she should cater to the GP as well.  Bring in the sales as well as new fans (because some of the current Little Monsters Managers are just tragic).  Hoping for a stadium tour for LG5.

It is kind of a tired subject in dance music, but as long as it is not simple and too specific, sure.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
