I was positive it was The Countess, but maybe that's a little too obvious? I still think it tho, but that's a fun theory. I like it.

I would like it if we're led to believe it's the Countess, but it turns out to be Emma Roberts' character. Always love a good red herring.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

There's enough in "Chutes and Ladders" to imply Elizabeth is the Mrs. March. A lot of subtle hints in the flashback and in random dialogue sort of pushes it in that direction.

First of all the voice of the lady sounds SO MUCH like Gaga's. Her voice in this show is probably the most recognizable out of everyone's in this show right now. Also, I agree with the other people here who pointed out the timeline details and her age matches well with the years of the creation of the hotel. It would make sense that's how she would have gotten a hold of the hotel and the money. Elizabeth turned March in, assuming Iris' speculation is correct. It all pushes toward that being the way Countess got everything because we haven't yet gotten anything that offers an alternative explanation.

Elizabeth explains to Donovan her attraction toward Tristan - Donovan notes that Elizabeth "has a type." Elizabeth is drawn towards all the rage inside of Tristan. It's safe to say Mr. March had a lot of rage in him, given all the stuff he did in the flashback. This leads us to want to draw comparisons between Donovan, Tristan, and March, going along with the theory that Elizabeth is indeed the Mrs. March.

Tristan asks Elizabeth who turned her - she implies it was a man of greatness. I really want to think she was referring to March because that little hint made a lot of sense when I deduced in the flashback that the wife was the Countess.

When Elizabeth kicks Donovan out, she explains to him that while she loves him, he must learn about the heartbreak. Who taught Elizabeth about such a heartbreak? It could have been March.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me at all is the last scene where he and the maid (I forget her name) commit suicide. Being that they're still around, it makes more sense for them to be ghosts and not vampires, at least in the maid's case. I guess March could have been a vampire, but the flashback doesn't really give anything to suggest that. But I guess he'd still be able to kill himself because Elizabeth told Tristan that even though he's a vampire he's immortal only if he's smart, meaning that sh!t can still kill them.

(Spoiler)

Donovan gets attacked by one of The Countess' rivals.

Ok, so I read that episode 3 will show this from Admin's thread, which made me come up with my own crazy theory.

My theory:

The Countess married Mr. March JUST for the money. Mr March and The Countess had only one thing in common, murder, not love. Mr. March had an affair with Emma Roberts. The Countess finds out and gets hurt, which causes Mr. March and the Countess to still be married, but live together separately, which in return causes Mr. March to commit more murders to get his frustration out and form a strong trust with the maid since he has left Emma (either he killed her or told her to leave him alone) to please The Countess. Now The Countess, living a boring married life, falls in love with another man, who is secretly a vampire. Since The Countess is still mortal at this point, she becomes pregnant of this vampire. She goes and has an abortion at the murder house because she doesnt want Mr. March to know that she too, was unfaithful, and at the same time, The Countess does not want to have a hybrid baby; vampire human. The vampire lover finds out and out of anger, turns her into a vampire so she can never have kids of her own or a normal family. The vampire lover flees and leaves her alone. Now that The Countess is mortal forever, yet can still die, she needs financial stability, so since she doesnt care about Mr. March and only wants his money, she turns him in, causing Mr. March and his only trustful friend, the Maid, to commit suicide, which means The Countess gets all his money and property. This might explain why she says her lover is "dead", and tells Donovan to "never fall in love." because her lover betrayed her by turning her into a vampire and now she considers him a rival . Thing is, she has fallen in love with Donovan, which has caused the rival to return, to hurt the only thing The Countess loves; Donovan; so she can feel what he felt when The Countess aborted their baby.

OFFT: She probably sold the hotel to the new guy to get money since Donovan stated she has no money.

Schwerk

Well, The Countess appears to have been turned by someone who she was in love with. I think the show is trying to make us think her and Mr March were together, but will surprise us, because March gave me no indication that he was a Vamp :duck:

interesting, I feel her lover was turned by The Countess which she now deeply regrets. (maybe Mr March for the money) And since she is the reason he died, she wants to find a man that looks like him and resque him by making him immortal, but no-one can compare to her great love.

Like you I do feel and hope the story has a different twist.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Emma is not March's wife! Ryan said they will reveal who she is between episodes 3, 4 & 5. Emma is set to appear only by the end of the season...... :trollga:
