Ronlop 6,882
and how much palestinians have died? And another thing that extremely bothers me with is that the first thing you guys had to say in this thread was either an attempt to make an excuse for the recent attacks (example: how much palestinians have died?) or discussing another topic that doesn't have to do with the recent events. If it was a Palestinian killed, you guys would've first and for all comment and say how horrible and how cruel. But when it's an Israeli, it seems as if it opens the door for a discussion regarding the palestinian-israeli conflict, comparisions and unnecessary justifications. Dolev 867
'Oh PLEASE. Can you cut the bs? Criminal activities seep through no matter how much people try to prevent them. Do you think no one is making efforts to keep bank fraud, rape, suicide and domestic violence from happening in a perfectly ordinary Western society? Have you seen the numbers? I am ecstatic when I hear about Muslims who take local initiatives to keep the youngsters in their community from being exposed to ISIS propaganda for example. I really don't see any other way for ordinary Muslims to "all condemn or boycott terror ideals" and you still haven't told me how they're supposed to do that even though I asked you twice already. Not gonna ask you again because you and I know that you don't have a ****ing clue. The only legitimate answer is that everyone in society, not just Muslims, should try to prevent Islamic terrorism from happening. Shoving the problem on helpless and divided Muslim communities is weak and lazy. Everyone with a brain knows that one of the key problems in the rise of Islamic terrorism is international political tension (good luck trying to change that as citizens) and the lack of a stabile cultural home that secures their identity. By collectively taking a stand against extremism of any kind by influencing what we can in our local environment and with the varying platforms we all have, I think we have a much bigger chance to combat violence than to choose for a lazy idealism such as: "This isn't my problem, you solve it because Muslims are supposed to care about respect and honor more than me, even though I live in a democratic country that is supposed to care about basic human values." Talk about being a sad excuse for a human being.Who do you think you are to talk to me like that? behave. You have a really big problem if you're referring Islamic terrorism as a regular Crime that exists anywhere. We're talking about ideological delinquency and a belief that says it is okay to kill people at all.

Are you forgetting that one of the many reasons for the European Muslims joining ISIS was because their mosques leaders were encouraging and brainwashing them to do so? Obviously, if those leaders will be stopped and won't encourage young muslims to join such a horrible organization and fight for nonsense, it'll defintiely help!Education is and will always be the key when it comes to adapting a second/third generation of imigrants who feel like they don't belong or don't fit in. Dolev 867
You talk about settlers, I am telling you that many times they started attacks on Palestinians, so yes I guess it's on topic if you bring it here. From throwing trashes on Palestinians streets to harassing them, if you keep provoking someone do you really expect they won't react? This is as childish as saying Palestinians started. We don't care who start what it's not a contest and if you want to see who wins the contest of deaths look at record for Palestinians... Have you already forgotten the house set on fire where one child survived? Is this a competition?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itamar_attack
TiphEret 1,320
Is this a competition?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itamar_attack Are you here to debate our just create more arguments? Please I know horrible stories from both sides so don't start on that You deliberately remember only this? Why aren't you mentioning the woman who was stabbed in front of her children in the ancient city in Jerusalem? Why aren't you mentioning the dozens of cases where rocks were being thrown on Israeli's cars? Why aren't you mentioning the Israeli 60 year old passenger who was stabbed to death? Why aren't you mentioning the dozens cases of terror attacks that happened against Israelis this past week? You only see the "house that was set on fire where one child survived". That is not in any way justified but why are you seeing only one side? It's the Palestinians who started to provoke and harass. Should the settlers attack back? No. And again, stasticially wise (and it's not even worth to argue on), there were more Palestinian against Israeli attacks than the opposite. No I am not deliberetely only remember this, you don't know me, you don't know my relation to israel so don't start me on that, and on the countless Israelis that have been attacked as if I was oblivious on it. Some of my won family died in a terrorist attack are you happy now? I can't believe what you say about Palestinians and settlers this is simply incorrect so I am going to stop here because you just want to make posts without real sources or data, I first asked you data in your original post you didn't provide them and derailed the topic so goodbye I am done that Sur le sable sur la neige, Sur les images dorées,Sur le front de mes amis, J’écris ton nom

TiphEret 1,320
then why you mentioned that horrible case of the Dawabsha family?Re read the whole post and you will understand, it was related to settlers. I am honestly enraged by that statement. How dare you! I responded to ANOTHER ONE'S post! And I'm not even mentioning the Israel-Palestine conflict are you just pulling things out of your ass right now? I am not comparing anything, I am not justifying anything, I even literally wrote that there is NO POSSIBLE JUSTIFICATION FOR WHAT HAPPENED HERE. Ugh. Just can't @Simon I'm also incredibly insulted that you chose to like that filth.

You have a really big problem if you're referring Islamic terrorism as a regular Crime that exists anywhere. We're talking about ideological delinquency and a belief that says it is okay to kill people at all. I said it's normal not to know how to solve these complex issues. Jesus, you people TRY your hardest to be offended it's crazy here.. I am not equating crimes at all. In fact, suicide is not a crime so you should be aware that I was trying to present several cases that should, in theory, be prevented by a simple education and an exposure to some of the most basic Western values. If "regular crimes" can't be stopped, then how is Islamic terrorism, which defies them in complexity for sure, to be stopped? I'm asking you because clearly you present yourself as having definite answers to these questions but you sadly never arrive at the point.

So you either deliberately misread or misread by wanting to disagree with me before reading. In any case, you read wrong, so I'm not gonna respond to aything but what you bolded, 'cause I obviously don't disagree. So that leaves me to just laugh at your attempt to educate me in that arrogant tone of yours, thinking I would be set right because you misread my post which were actually quite easy to follow. But I can respond in another way: education clearly does not help in all cases - like I said to Dolev, education even to people who are born here doesn't stop tragic crimes from happening either and I remember that a few months back you even told me that many highly educated people living in Europe went to Syria to join ISIS and that education had nothing to do with it. That was actually a good point, but now you're presenting the opposite view which can easily be refuted in many ways. Only one of them: the general Western education offers no place for discussing the complexity of the Middle Eastern crisis. It's too big. Add to that the fact that Western education does not make any serious attempts to question the role of Western forces in international politics and there you have it - the main pillars of motivation to join ISIS are still lying there.
