She's an entertainer. She cheers people up with her songs, and that's all she wants to do, as told by her in her interviews. If she is useless, so are the other female "artists" mentioned in the article. Please, as if Beyonce's discography is anything special...there is a reason her singles never take off. She's on the same level as Katy..+ At least Katy isn't a manipulative and narcissitic control freak. Everything that Taylor does is calculated and done for pure image purposes. However she kinda deserved the lack of respect as an artist, but yeah she is human too. I like her as commercial product, but it's annoying when she tries to step out of the box in her basic manner. Bey stopped making pop music back in '09. How many black/urban artists are getting #1 hits these days?? Bey couldn't care less about a hit single anymore. Have you seen her last era? Not everyone needs to be groundbreaking or boundary pushing to have a place in the music industry, there's room for everyone. The majority of her music is fun and care-free, and I don't think she should be shamed because of it. She's an entertainer and that is what she does. Furthermore, I don't see the point this article is trying to make She is human just like everyone else, if she wants to promote a political campaign she can do.
