The ARTPOP app was a big failure since the ideas for the app never really came to fruition. But honestly, the ideas Gaga had in mind for the ARTPOP app were really fresh and innovative. Had Gaga not have encountered so many problems with her management, the ARTPOP app could have actually been really good. I mean with the ARTPOP app, you could have remixed her songs, created art and sculptures, communicate with fellow fans, live stream Gaga's performances, and any new ARTPOP updates/songs could have been released. And you could have done all of this in the same place/app. The ARTPOP app was the perfect blueprint for the future of interaction between the music, an artist, and the fanbase.So would you want Gaga to make a fully realized ARTPOP app for LG5? ARTPOP was supposed to be a fusion of technology and art (which it ended up being more drama from external critics) and the app was going to be the full experience. It didn't happen and that's okay. If she goes disco/nature with LG5 I'd prefer there be no app. Just music and the videos. The app was so ARTPOP and I don't think that's the direction she's going with LG5. I could be wrong though.
