Why are you all discussing about culture and ethics when it's pretty obvious that his comment was ignorant and indeed quite racist (it's actually xenophobic)? 

Saying that you can't trust a group of people because in their country some people do a certain thing is xenophobic.

The government doesn't represent the whole country. Germany used to be worse and there were still good and innocent people in there.

He needs to jump off a cliff so we never have to hear him speak ever again. I'm also a little worried how much more attention the republican debates got over the democratic one tonight. I really hope it's not tilting the public opinion in favor of them. Notice how much more respectful and intelligent this debate was compared to that circus that was the Republican debate.

Maybe he would get rid of it or not take proper care of it. Maybe he would report it to the authorities and they would just kill it and dispose of the body.

His comment was ignorant because he obviously implied that a North Korean chef would definitely cook a Labrador even though that's not exactly what most chefs cook in North Korea.

Everyone can lose a dog and everyone can kill a dog, not just North Koreans. I mean his son killed one for fun. 

He may have not said something really bad but you are the one is definitely ignorant and xenophobic.

I agree that the time affects but most of them relied on personal attacks and jokes. You can't really blame the time when you are supposed to be prepared for the debate.
