Goosey 3,017
Why are you all discussing about culture and ethics when it's pretty obvious that his comment was ignorant and indeed quite racist (it's actually xenophobic)? Saying that you can't trust a group of people because in their country some people do a certain thing is xenophobic. Um, of course you can't trust them because they're NORTH KOREANS the're commies. DrewStevens 5,249
Um, of course you can't trust them because they're NORTH KOREANS the're commies. Oh yeah I forgot we can judge a whole country based on their government and that communists like to eat dogs. Do do you have anything else to add to that ignorant crap? Do do you have anything else to add to that ignorant crap? Are you seriously criticizing Huckabee for making fun of North Koreans? North Koreans! Not to mention the fact no North Koreans will be allowed to see his message anyways. I hate this PC stuff, people are so EXTRA these days. Are you seriously implying that all North Koreans have the same ideas and values? Because that's very idiotic and ignorant. Yes, I'm criticizing that dumbass for making ignorant and xenophobic comments. How are we being "so extra" for saying his comments were stupid and ignorant? I'm not even going to discuss PC with you because you are obviously xenophobic and ignorant.
Goosey 3,017
Are you seriously implying that all North Koreans have the same ideas and values? Because that's very idiotic and ignorant. Are you seriously implying we should care about offending North Koreans? That Huckabee can't joke about the Democratic People's Republic? Never watch stand-up. Here's Huckabee's reply: "Poor liberals, no sense of humor and no sense of reality. Leave it to liberals to ignore injustices and atrocities of a totalitarian nation on human beings and put more importance on a nation's diet which includes grass clippings and canines. Facts: North Koreans eat dog and Bernie Sanders wants to spend 18 trillion dollars of your money. What's so hard to understand?" I'm done here. If you agree with Huckabee's reply then there's nothing else to discuss because clearly you are as ignorant as him. Your whole post is cringe-worthy, idiotic, ignorant and xenophobic but it doesn't surprise me knowing that it comes from you.
Goosey 3,017
Your whole post is cringe-worthy, idiotic, ignorant and xenophobic but it doesn't surprise me knowing that it comes from you.Xenophobia1.A fear of strangers or foreigners.2. A strong antipathy or aversion to strangers or foreigners. Sorry, no xenophobia here. Of course I don't like North Korea. That's not xenophobia. North Korea is our enemy. They are technically still at war. They are one of the worst countries for human rights and belligerence on the world stage. You're mad Huckabee made a joke about their chefs? Freaking lighten up. He did not say "a Korean chef". He said "a North Korean chef". "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. Germany used to be worse and there were still good and innocent people in there.I'm not even mad at that dumbass. I just said his comments were clearly xenophobic and ignorant. It doesn't matter if he said North Korean or just Korean, it was still ignorant. Don't you live in Canada? North Korea and Canada still have diplomatic relations. They are not your enemies. Leave us who actually live in the US to decide who are our enemies.
Economy 53,130
He needs to jump off a cliff so we never have to hear him speak ever again. I'm also a little worried how much more attention the republican debates got over the democratic one tonight. I really hope it's not tilting the public opinion in favor of them. Notice how much more respectful and intelligent this debate was compared to that circus that was the Republican debate.there were 11 in the republican debate. How orderly did u exepect it to be? Brainiac 11,171
there were 11 in the republican debate. How orderly did u exepect it to be?It would have been a similar situation even if it was only 5 of them up there. The number of people had nothing to do with the things that were being SAID. U end up attacking more directly... i for one when i wanna get a point across why i believe what i do economically i write essays on youtube comments. Goosey 3,017
How is it not xenophobia when you are showing strong antipathy for North Koreans?Do you show strong antipathy for Nazi Germany? The Soviet Union? Must be xenophobic.I'm not even mad at that dumbass. I just said his comments were clearly xenophobic and ignorant. It doesn't matter if he said North Korean or just Korean, it was still ignorant. They're not xenophobic. Do you own a dog? You must know many dog owners consider their pets a part of the family. Would you trust your pet to a stranger? What about a stranger in a secretive totalitarian regime on the other side of the world? Nobody has ever given their dog to a North Korean chef before. Maybe the dog would get loose and disappear. Maybe he would get rid of it or not take proper care of it. Maybe he would report it to the authorities and they would just kill it and dispose of the body. So no, Huckabee isn't "xenophobic" when he says he wouldn't trust his dog to a North Korean chef. Just about no one in their right mind would trust their dog to a North Korean chef. Do you dispute that? And that's not even considering the fact that they do eat dogs in that country (no, it's not even a cultural thing, it's a necessity). That's the difference. His comment was ignorant because he obviously implied that a North Korean chef would definitely cook a Labrador even though that's not exactly what most chefs cook in North Korea. Everyone can lose a dog and everyone can kill a dog, not just North Koreans. I mean his son killed one for fun. He may have not said something really bad but you are the one is definitely ignorant and xenophobic.
