Melech 9,900
!After weeks of enthusiasm about the influx of refugees, tensions have rapidly escalated in Germany: Anti-immigration and anti-Islam protesters in the eastern city of Dresden set up symbolic gallows on Monday evening that they said was reserved for Chancellor Angela Merkel and Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel (whose name the protesters misspelled). Police said they had launched an investigation after photos of the scene caused national outrage on social media sites. The incident was part of a so-called Pegida protest rally that attracted as many as 9,000 demonstrators and has taken place every Monday for about one year now. Although it is unclear whether the gallows was set up with the knowledge of Pegida's leadership, speech excerpts quoted by German media outlets on Monday indicated a radicalization of the movement. Lutz Bachmann, the founder of the movement who briefly resigned as its head earlier this year after after photos showed him posing as Hitler, was quoted on Monday as calling the chancellor's government a "Berlin dictatorship."es) In the past, at least one former Pegida leader has voiced regret over her involvement in the movement. As WorldViews reported back then, Kathrin Oertel apologized to Muslims in a Facebook video message in April: "I feel partially responsible for a campaign of hatred we caused. I want to apologize and the only thing I can do is to help resolve those tensions." "Those still belonging to the Pegida movement need to understand that they are advocating for the wrong cause," she said back then. It seems as if few Pegida members listened to her words." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2015/10/13/german-protesters-set-up-mock-gallows-to-hang-angela-merkel-for-her-pro-refugee-stance/ Mess, they are mess, literally

jojuun 4,159
Neo-Nazism should be viewed as a disease, it truly is. Anyone who can even understand 1% of that ideology is mentally ill and should be locked away for life.

craig 680
Bureaucracy. But they are investigating for hate speech, but I doubt they will put into prison To arrest people for hating on Merkel, the leader, would be a Hitler-like move. People have a right to oppose her immigration policy too, long as they don't incite hate on actual immigrants.Important different - the Nazis wanted to aggressively change the ethnic composition of Europe, take over land, eliminate Jews and Slavs. Most of the right-wing opposing Merkel just want things to stay as they ethnically, which is really conservatism.I'm more reminded of Germany's past when I hear Merkel trying to dictate immigration policy to the Poles and Czechs and Slovaks. This is my point exactly, but he does not take any such arguments into account. He is simultaneously the supporter of Merkel's pro-immigrant decisions and the supporter of Israel's war against Palestinians. Where is the logic? He fights for millions of culturally different people from Africa (most of them illegal, without any documents, often also sick, because of the lack of innoculation) in Germany and at the same time he wants to flee to Israel where it is to some extent accepted to kill Muslims  How can someone like that be taken seriously? Hate speech shouldn't be allowed. You can oppose her immigration policies but wishing her the death is too much."want to stay ethnically" that's what Hitler said after he killed millions of my people and romani.
