Billboard: Janet Jackson sells 109,000 copies w/ 'Unbreakable'

I shared earlier that Hits Double Daily said that Janet Jackson's new album Unbreakable sold 106,000 copies in the first week. Billboard has now officially released that figure at 109,000 copies sold and 116,000 units with streaming. As I said earlier, this gives her, her 7th #1 album. What's interesting that I didn't bring to light in my last post is that Janet becomes just the 3rd act to have a #1 album in each of the last four decades (80's, 90's, 00's, '10s). Barbra Streisand and Bruce Springsteen are the other two acts to do so.

The 90s were just not a good time for pop music artists, it was heavily punk/grunge influenced I guess

I am so genuinely happy for This Queen, good for her! Talent never dies, and she is one of the conduits to such a thing. Longevity, indeed.
