DrewStevens 5,249 Posted October 16, 2015 Share Posted October 16, 2015 With all due respect literally this album is no where near average for Pop records now a days and you even know that , how many albums are great as a whole now a days , a few ? it's a single based industry right now Mr Hughes sounds like an Amy winehouse song , i also don't get this Disney album thing ? what's a disney album looool. Confident and Stars may sound like your generic hit with a twist but that does not mean it's not a good thing it's just a matter of taste. Though don't forget songs like Wildfire , Waitin For You and Yes that completely give Demi a new sound. The jump between DEMI and Confident is huge and i'm a tad surprised you didn't notice it. If it's not doing anything to you i guess it's a matter of taste. Anyways to each there own i guess Well to me it's not that different from her other albums. The ballads sound like they could belong to any of her past albums. Amy Winehouse would have never recorded a song like Mr Hughes. In my opinion it's average and not cohesive.
