Tommy Monster 846 Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 This album actually slays, you can feel that she´s matured lyric-wise, and music-wise she reinvented herself while still leaving some sort of her typical sound in there that, my friends, I call an achievement Let me see what I would give it: 1.Revival 7/10 - a good opener, the beginning is great, but it feels like the song was made so that the title has a song tbh 2.Kill em with kindness 10/10 - a classic Selena melody with something new in it, a great song 3.Hands to myself 10/10 - again a great unity of the old and new Selena 4.Same old love 9/10 - a good one, I like the bridge and the overall vibe too 5.Sober 10/10 - this song is perfection, the melody and the lyrics really hit me, the chorus slays so hard 6.Good for you 8/10 - I don´t understand how she chose this song as the lead single when at least half of the album is much better... didn´t like it when it first came out but it grew on me 7.Camouflage 5/10 - don´t feel this one, at all 8.Me and the rythm 10/10 - the best song on the album (cockfighting with Sober), should have been the lead single imo 9.Survivors 9/10 - nice one, another Selena classic kind of song with a little bit of Miley vibes in the chorus 10.Body Heat 10/10 - this song is just so sick 11.Rise 9/10 - oh, this is a nice ballad - chorus hits - whaaaat??? this was unexpected 12.Me and my girls 9/10 - nasty and dark, I like 13.Nobody 9/10 - a nice ballad 14.Perfect 9/10 - I like how the album ends with ballads Overall: 88/100 I think this is her best album yet, tbh Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
