People kill people! disprove this and then tell me if you really think these three shootings happening in one day is a mere coincidence and couldn't have happened chain reaction like. or if you think that once they take a bunch of people's guns, psychos won't be able to find one if they felt like it? A dispute between students could easily lead to something like this. People get killed every day by guns, rocks, cars, bombs. People have been getting killed before the existence of guns and people will kill if they are taken away.Why don't we ever talk about Shootings in impoverished city's where hundreds including children are getting killed with Illegal guns on the street? Why are school shootings more important then something that happens every day?Because poverty and criminal activities are usually linked together, if you have no way to survive in a legal way it makes sense to turn to illegal activities which leads to bigger crimes.Last time I checked universities aren't a place of crime and poverty and most people there should be able to solve conflict using their voice instead of guns. It's true we should talk about poverty and criminality but it is more shocking in universities because there is no "logical" explanation to gun use there apart from the fact that it is way too easy to have access to one of them. But when you make guns as easily accessible as they are in America, you're making it so much easier for people to kill people. It's leaving too much freedom in the hands of people; to the point where it endangers other's right to even just be alive. These kinds of issues aren't nearly as severe in other developed nations where guns are more controlled (for example Canada). The United States need to do something.
