Supersonic 49,376 Posted October 9, 2015 Share Posted October 9, 2015 A fight between two student groups at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff turned deadly Friday morning when an 18-year-old student fatally shot another student and wounded three others, the university police chief said.The suspect, Steven Jones, was arrested by campus cops and was cooperating with authorities, Police Chief Gregory Fowler said during a press conference.Police got the call about the shooting at 4:20 a.m. EST, he said. It occurred in a parking lot outside the Mountain View Hall dorm at the northeast side of the campus.Fowler said he had no details about what sparked the confrontation and what groups the students – all male – belonged to. He said not all of them live on campus.The victims were shot multiple times, he added.
