Here we go again. Gaga just talking it out...going through the creative process. Next week she could feel completely different. Haven't y'all learned anything from following Gaga for years!

This is exactly how the extremely artistic and talented people I know in real life are. (And I'm not talking about people who sing a little or write poems or write music reviews for their personal blog) They are constantly thinking, creating and changing because they have big ideas, but they keep adding to them or changing them.

Stop freaking out and just wait! See what Gaga ends up creating. A month from now she could be in a completely different headspace!

yes, I mean just one month ago she said her music would be dark after AHS

She wants and NEEDS success to stay relevant in the music industry , i'm so sick of these lana and BTW hipster  stans that want her to do creepy ugly and boring ****.

She can balance both very well (TFM)

Just let her have some success and then she'll be doing creepy ugly things again, dont worry you hipsters ^^

Shes a mega POP star after all :)

Exactly! There is no way to determine at this point what type of album or music we are going to get from Gaga. No matter which way she goes, she is going to disappoint a group of people on this forum. Those fans will live. Your world will not end if a pop star fails to put out some kind of music that you were hoping for! Lol

Bitter

She is right tho.

People loved the fierce and careless Gaga, not the broken and destroyed one.

C'mon queen, give me that perfection on LG5

I get what shés trying to say here. her views about things keep changing,so i'm not worried about what's going on in her head right now.

she already said that her next album is going to be inspired by AHS,so we can be assured that LG5 will be dark,shés not going to deliver colorful, fun songs like ARTPOP.

she also keeps mentioning "Art of Darkness" in her recent interviews,so there u go :koons:

"And I'm not talking about people who sing a little or write poems or write music reviews for their personal blog"

What is that suppose to mean?

People on Broadway or at Julliard or that play instruments with Bruno Mars or played with B.B. King at 14 years old. Those freakishly talented people who devote their whole lives to their art because they were born with an unusual talent and they spent their entire childhood and school years doing nothing but that. Those are the types that are all inside of their head.

It clearly shows she's out of touch with reality.

The truth is that her fans want to see her grow musically and be true to herself, not to succumb to industry's demands.

I dunno about you lot, but I would love to have the music back from TFM/BTW.  I do not care if I am a "teeny bopper twink" that likes dance songs, but that is the Gaga I fell in love with in the first place.

I do not want "depressed and sad" Gaga. I want "happy and fierce I don't give a **** Gaga."

Whatever floats ha boat I guess. As long as she is happy, I could not care less what she releases.

In my messy era.

Perfection I think is Gaga saying "hits"

Just Dance and Bad Romance were Gaga's greatest hits and I think she feels that fans and the GP are expecting her to make more hit music...(which I'm sure she will working with RedOne)...and not really wanting her personal raw feelings in music?

Gaga we want both...music has to be great in order to keep you relevant as a POP star and make money. Let's be REAL! Also, we stan for you BECAUSE you write from your personal experiences...not a manufactured script that you read in the studio and fake having an "emotional" connection to. Yes Rihanna...talking about you

I hope she thinks of it as a balance and we don't care only about a melody as much as lyrics...we appreciate both but overall...people want great music...lyrics always come second in this industry

Really? That's what fans want? Because there are lots on here that want a return to TFM or BTW....and that is all they have talked about for two years or more years. Then there is the group that wants bops...they want hits! There are those that want rock...or even metal. Then there are those that want dark, dark, dark....  And we have those who want funk or disco. Fans want what they want, Gaga being true to herself is not high on the most wanted list around here.

Last time we had a poll here, I believe commercial vs critical success was about 50/50, with the slight edge to commercial success.

This might just be the final nail in my coffin as a fan. This is utterly disappointing and I'm so glad Lana is my #1 nowadays. Gaga please please please don't sellout and be just another popstar. Be an artist and stand by your work. I just can't believe she actually said this. :air:

Confirms my doubts on Gaga's image as this fearless bad b*tch when in reality she is very insecure when it comes to her music and she craves the applause (as if she didn't spell that out for the world with Applause lol). I don't mean to sound rude I am just really disappointed right now.

Like what even.:rip:

u go, hipster fan. :saw:

if anything, she's always stood for her work and this interview doesn't change that fact.
