And I wouldn't mind at all having a second album like that. But in the same time I don't want Gaga to make music for the charts or because that's what she thinks we want. What we want is real music! Seeing her commercially happy for one era and loved by public will make me happy again. It's not like she's gonna be shallow. Her music will be more commercial for one era that's it. There are millions of beautifully sung emotional songs when the singer hasn't used "deep/ shaky" vocals. People are allowed to have an opinion. There is the singing and then there is the songwriting. The later gives the former depth and substance. I really dislike it when people attempt to sum up other people so recklessly. The poets and writers have their place, but always seem to be overlooked.Those were just some quick examples of people I knew in real life. Poets and writers would most certainly be included in the list of artistic people. (Of course, Gaga is a songwriter too!) Think of all the famous writers and poets from the past that struggled with depression or anxieties...that were basically closed up in their houses with their thoughts. Visual artists too! The artists that are completely devoted to their work, like they never in their life had any other choice....artistic minds....that's what I was referring to! She just thinks that people in general don't care for songs like that. Everyone loves 'Blood Mary, Scheisee and Dance in the Dark' and I would never compare them to the cheerful 'Just Dance'. DSK 611 Posted October 9, 2015 Share Posted October 9, 2015 Well for a very long time I've seen people everywhere - here even - bashing ARTPOP and asking for commercial success, charts, n.1 hits and all. As an artist she'll be forever divided between making raw art from her deepest emotions or making stuff that the majority of people enjoy. I believe TFM was a mixture of both, while TF was purely commercial and ARTPOP purely personal. I like the idea of having another hybrid for the next era. Why are we minding about a decision she has (probably) already taken. She (was) an internationally acclaimed star, which has gone dim in the last 2/3 years.
